Taste of Home
I spent 2 years as a designer at Trusted Media Brands working primarily with Special Interest Publications for Taste of Home magazine, reaching over 2 million people in circulation, and 33 million per month digitally. I designed magazines that engage Taste of Home's community of home cooks across America, ideating on new title ideas, brainstorming for cover concepts that will resonate with our audience of comfort food lovers, and navigating multiple project timelines at once.
In addition to layout design, I collaborated with the edit, copy desk, photo, and external print production and color correction teams in the SIPs production process to ensure the magazines are sent to the printer and out to the newsstands looking their best.
I was a member of an innovation team in 2020 that successfully proposed community-enhancing features for the Taste of Home website to allow users to better utilize saving recipes from the database and interact with other users through recipe reviews & comments.
